Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen
This San Diego kitchen remodel features PCS cabinets with a apple wood, white painted finish. The counter top is a Pentalquarts Calacatta countertops with a waterfall edge. The back splash is a glass backsplash and this kitchen has stainless steel appliances. This space was demoed to create a bigger area that allowed for the peninsula as well as to open up to the family room. The back wall was also demoed to ass the glass sliding doors to the back yard.

A long narrow kitchen renovation where we opted to put in an island and eliminate a wall of cabinets. Blocked up a window where the range is now and added two small windows.
Client was from the south and loved to add some bling, so we added crystal chandeliers and glass backsplash that sparkles.

This cozy, newly remodeled kitchen in Alexandria feels brighter and more open to the homeowners. The top half of the wall between the rear entrance and the eat-in area of the kitchen was removed, and the entryway between a rear addition and the kitchen was widened by about 9 inches. The resulting breakfast nook is now filled with natural light, and the glass table and new rustic pendant light add to its peaceful ambiance. Photographer Greg Hadley

The original Mid-century inset cabinets were removed, along with the laminate countertops, laminate backsplash, and vinyl flooring. They were replaced with Shaker cabinets, a quartz of blue with copper flecks (to pick up the cabinet color - the owner's "splurge" item), blue glass tile backsplash, and blue-gray-tan ceramic flooring to tie everything together. This remodel was completed with stock cabinets to keep the price reasonable. The cabinets and countertop were under $20,000.

Like most high rises in the city, this kitchen was lacking in square footage. To give the illusion of more space, super white cabinetry from Grabill Cabinet Company and Arabascato quartzite countertops were installed. Perfect for entertaining, dual peninsulas comfortably provide seating for four people.
The multi-tiered ceiling provides both general task lighting & ambient cove lighting accentuating the architectural details in this kitchen. The Wolf induction cooktop and single oven, along with the Broan ventilation system, fit perfectly on limited available wall space.
Neutral arabesque glass backsplash tile was used on the wall behind the hood to create an eye-catching focal point.

The microwave and coffee station is nestled away inside of a neat appliance garage. The appliance garage is finished inside so that it looks impressive even while it is open. A flat pull-out stand extends the coffee station for easy access.

Here you can see where one of the drawer-fronts actually lifts up to reveal the microwave. A great disguise.
