We love nothing more than a challenging kitchen design project. This particular kitchen space had some unique requirements, which we were more than happy to meet.
The homeowners were looking for a stylish and contemporary kitchen that would also be highly functional. They wanted a space that could be used as both a dining and workspace area and somewhere to entertain guests. With all these factors in mind, we set to create a stunning dark green kitchen that maximises the available space.
The U-shaped layout of this kitchen is perfect for the relatively small space as it maximises the available square footage. We designed clever storage solutions — such as tall units with pullout shelves — to ensure that the kitchen had everything the homeowners needed without feeling cluttered or cramped.
We also chose sleek, handleless cabinetry from Pronorm's Proline range in a dark green finish that adds a touch of luxury to the space. Under cabinet lighting was also added to help brighten the room and create a welcoming atmosphere.
One of the standout features of this kitchen is the long table on one side — perfect for family meal times or working from home. We kept the colour palette simple and chic with Artscut Bianco Mysterio white quartz worktops and a backsplash offset by the Dark Green Ultra Matt Lacquer cabinetry. To complete the look, we added a Franke sink, a Quooker boiling tap, and Siemens appliances.

The Harris Kitchen uses our slatted cabinet design which draws on contemporary shaker and vernacular country but with a modern rustic feel. This design lends itself beautifully to both freestanding or fitted furniture and can be used to make a wide range of freestanding pieces such as larders, dressers and islands. This Kitchen is made from English Character Oak and custom finished with a translucent sage coloured Hard Wax Oil which we mixed in house, and has the effect of a subtle wash of colour without detracting from the character, tonal variations and warmth of the wood. This is a brilliant hardwearing, natural and breathable finish which is water and stain resistant, food safe and easy to maintain.
The slatted cabinet design was originally inspired by old vernacular freestanding kitchen furniture such as larders and meat safes with their simple construction and good airflow which helped store food and provisions in a healthy and safe way, vitally important before refrigeration. These attributes are still valuable today although rarely used in modern cabinetry, and the Slat Cabinet series does this with very narrow gaps between the slats in the doors and cabinet sides.
Emily & Greg commissioned this kitchen for their beautiful old thatched cottage in Warwickshire. The kitchen it was replacing was out dated, didn't use the space well and was not fitted sympathetically to the space with its old uneven walls and low beamed ceilings. A carefully considered cupboard and drawer layout ensured we maximised their storage space, increasing it from before, whilst opening out the space and making it feel less cramped.
The cabinets are made from Oak veneered birch and poplar core ply with solid oak frames, panels and doors. The main cabinet drawers are dovetailed and feature Pippy/Burr Oak fronts with Sycamore drawer boxes, whilst the two Larders have slatted Oak crate drawers for storage of vegetables and dry goods, along with spice racks shelving and automatic concealed led lights. The wall cabinets and shelves also have a continuous strip of dotless led lighting concealed under the front edge, providing soft light on the worktops.

Our client requested interior design and architecture on this lovely Craftsman home to update and brighten the existing kitchen. The pop of color in the cabinetry pairs perfectly with the traditional style of the space.

This serene kitchen has been hand painted in Farrow and Ball James White (No. 2010) and Cooking Apple green (No. 32) on the island. The storage has been maximised by the American style fridge freezer with a run of tall units housing the ovens and a gorgeous pantry. Worktops are in a Carrera effect quartz. Practical and light.
Northern Contours
Northern Contours' 3D Laminate Shaker Slim doors in the color Sage create a serene space. It pairs well with the matte black hardware, white counters, and a unique geometric backsplash.

A boho kitchen with a "modern retro" vibe in the heart of Austin! We painted the lower cabinets in Benjamin Moore's BM 706 "Cedar Mountains", and the walls in BM OC-145 "Atrium White". The minimal open shelving keeps this space feeling open and fresh, and the wood beams and Scandinavian chairs bring in the right amount of warmth!
