Our client was inspired by old English kitchens and we worked to make that distinctive traditional style feel right at home in the context of a Spanish bungalow. The unfussiness of the oak cabinetry and unlacquered brass finishes blends with a boldly eclectic mix (in scale, pattern, and hue) of stone for a fresh, modern take on traditional English design. Right off the kitchen and separated only by a tiled archway, the laundry room wears this blend a bit more dramatically with pale lilac cabinetry, vibrant wallcoverings, and intricate woodwork. The end result is a highly layered, subtly theatrical scheme where the line between casual and elegant is softly blurred. It's our ode to how gorgeous even the most utilitarian elements can be.

Step into the world of modern elegance with this contemporary open-plan kitchen. The sleek veneer doors effortlessly blend with shaker-style wall cabinet doors, creating a harmonious contrast that defines the heart of this home. What truly sets this kitchen apart is its unique island design, featuring captivating repetitive arches that beckon you toward the inviting living room. These mesmerizing arches aren't just limited to the island; they are skillfully repeated in the wall cabinets, weaving a sense of continuity and artistry throughout the space.

This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. This Shoot was on behalf of Jennifer Gilmer from Jennifer Gilmer Kitchen & Bath, Jennifer gave us the green light to be creative and a little daring in this shoot. The space has natural light flowing in to the kitchen, this made the shoot a lot of fun and the freedom gave us these great angles and props.
