A timeless and classical kitchen features dual islands for maximum efficiency, while custom millwork and cabinetry finished with a light glazing create a light and airy space. Imported quartzite lends itself to a marble appearance, but is more durable for cooking. Carved millwork details and corbels add depth and detail to the cabinetry. The backsplash incorporates hand made ceramic tiles, custom slab inserts and a custom colored medallion.

The main island stayed in its original shape with minor arranging of appliances and adding drawers. The second island was enlarge slightly to accommodate a better selection of appliances as we added a second dish washer drawer and ice maker. Again we used better storage solutions when replacing the old cabinetry.

This kitchens demeanour is one of quiet function, designed for effortless prepping and cooking and with space to socialise with friends and family. The unusual curved island in dusted oak veneer and finished in our unique paint colour, Periwinkle offers seating for eating and chatting. The handmade cabinets of this blue kitchen design are individually specified and perfectly positioned to maximise every inch of space.
Our warm blue 'Periwinkle' is the perfect choice for creating a kitchen with a confident, stylish personality. A versatile shade with warm undertones it takes on a range of tones depending on the lighting.

The Artists Hands - Faux Finishes
Our client designed her home inspired by a soft Spanish influence. We further complimented her kitchen with a subtle distressed application to the kitchen cabinets and creative hand painting for the vent hood area. Copyright © 2016 The Artists Hands
Design + Build by Lazar
In this project Lazar has created another of his hyper-livable top floors—half indoors, half outdoors—that could arguably be the beating heart of the home. A sunny gathering space and gourmet kitchen are gathered under an elevated ceiling. Lined with windows and stocked with gleaming counters, the big room opens onto an equally spacious ocean-view deck that could morph either way: as everyday living space or party central. The Arcane Limestone pavers are old and reclaimed ancient pavers that have an unparalleled mystical beauty to them. They are salvaged from old homes and structures from across ancient cities in the Mediterranean Sea.
