This couple wanted a completely custom kitchen using Wood-Mode and Brookhaven Cabinetry, along with the expertise of a professional kitchen designer, for their new home. In collaboration with Veranda Designer Homes out of Southlake, TX, we created this lovely and fresh kitchen that fulfilled the needs and desires of the homeowners.

The sink base features two full extension rollouts that handle trash and recyclables in the front and have divided storage for cleaning supplies in the back. No more getting on your hands and knees to access this cabinet. Idea found in Fine Homebuilding magazine. Small tilt drawer holds sponges. The cabinet doors are ivory painted finish and hand applied chocolate brown glaze. These raised-panel cabinets have full overlay doors and drawers, constructed with high precision to maintain a 1/8” gap between every side of a door and drawer. Basking Ridge kitchen with Transitional Design that utilizes rustic and contemporary touches for a unique look. Reclaimed beam used to create the hood, ledgestone backsplash adds nice texture, tile plank flooring in smoke grey is the perfect accent to the dark brown and white cabinetry.

Leanna Rathkelly photo: Bringing the outside into the kitchen meant using large windows all around this ocean-side home, eliminating upper cabinets on the view side of the kitchen. A window is placed behind the gas range so the owner can look outside to the wild yard while cooking.

The Hillsboro is a wonderful floor plan for families. The kitchen features an oversized island, walk-in pantry, breakfast area, and eating bar. The master suite is equipped with his and hers sinks, a custom shower, a soaking tub, and a large walk-in closet. The Hillsboro also boasts a formal dining room, garage, and raised ceilings throughout. This home is also available with a finished upstairs bonus space.
