Pearl RemodelingWe converted a 34'6" x 18'6" detached garage into a legal ADU with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, a full bathroom, a living room, and a laundry section. The ADU has many features including; Central A/C, recessed lighting, closet space, vinyl flooring, eco-friendly windows, and more! It is the perfect size for any family members or the rent out for extra income.
GMI Design GroupCaring for aging parents is both a joy and a challenge. The clients wanted to create a more aging-in-place friendly basement area for their mother. The existing kitchenette was more of a glorified bar and did not give her the option of cooking independently, and definitely not stylishly.
We re-configured the area so it was all open, with full kitchen capabilities. All appliances were selected to cater to the mother's limited reach, so all functional storage and product usage can be done without raising arms excessively.
Special storage solutions include a peg-system for a dish drawer, tiered silverware trays, a slide-up appliance garage, and pivoting pantry storage.
The cabinets also give ample display space for her collection of antique glassware.
In lieu of an island, we created a solid-surface top for a standard table so food can be prepped while sitting and without damaging the table top.
All items reflect the mother's tastes and existing furniture so she can truly feel like this basement is her space, while still being close to her son and daughter-in-law.
Made To Last Custom Homes Ltd.As a carriage house there was no kitchen in the design in order to meet the municipality’s restrictions. However, with a fully functional bar for comfortable wine & cheese pairings, the space doesn’t feel lacking.
Visionary OrganizingThis client was struggling to keep her small kitchen pantry organized with limited space. By adding an additional interior shelf up top, as well as a door mounted organizer, I provided her with lots of additional space. Secondly, I sorted and merged products.
Pinnacle Design & RemodelingThis house is a bit of a frankenstein. There's been many additions done over the years so we had to keep the kitchen where it was and we sadly couldn't open the space up more due to low bearing walls. We worked with what we had and tried to make the most of it! We wanted to create a fresh and open with white cabinetry and white countertops for a timeless design that will age well with the house.
PlaceDesign Kitchens and InteriorsThis client in East Ham wanted to maximise storage without making the room feel smaller or colder. The result is this warm taupe handleless kitchen that makes the most of the high ceilings.
Castle Building & RemodelingThis twin home was the perfect home for these empty nesters – retro-styled bathrooms, beautiful fireplace and built-ins, and a spectacular garden. The only thing the home was lacking was a functional kitchen space.
The old kitchen had three entry points – one to the dining room, one to the back entry, and one to a hallway. The hallway entry was closed off to create a more functional galley style kitchen that isolated traffic running through and allowed for much more countertop and storage space.
The clients wanted a transitional style that mimicked their design choices in the rest of the home. A medium wood stained base cabinet was chosen to warm up the space and create contrast against the soft white upper cabinets. The stove was given two resting points on each side, and a large pantry was added for easy-access storage. The original box window at the kitchen sink remains, but the same granite used for the countertops now sits on the sill of the window, as opposed to the old wood sill that showed all water stains and wears. The granite chosen (Nevaska Granite) is a wonderful color mixture of browns, greys, whites, steely blues and a hint of black. A travertine tile backsplash accents the warmth found in the wood tone of the base cabinets and countertops.
Elegant lighting was installed as well as task lighting to compliment the bright, natural light in this kitchen. A flip-up work station will be added as another work point for the homeowners – likely to be used for their stand mixer while baking goodies with their grandkids. Wallpaper adds another layer of visual interest and texture.
The end result is an elegant and timeless design that the homeowners will gladly use for years to come.

Lisette Voute DesignsA compact but convenient eat-in kitchen in this London townhouse. I love the ball-shaped kitchen pendant over the wooden dining table, adding a fun industrial edge, and the pull-out tap adds to that industrial touch. The built-in ovens are from Smeg, and I find them classically beautiful. We painted the units in a creamy-off white colour to keep it feeling warm, and tying in with the brass hardware of the knobs and drawer handles. The dark oak chairs compliment the flooring, and we matched the fabric of the roman blind to the chair seat cushions.
Kirk Riley DesignCompletely remodeled Mid-century classic kitchen with red quartz counters and large format glass tile backsplash. New floor plan allowed for twice as much prep space and created a focal point with induction range and exposed vent hood.

Заказчики любят черно-белую гамму, ей мы и ограничились с маленькими цветовыми вкраплениями. Не смотря на обилие черного цвета, квартира светлая т.к. имеет высокие окна по всему фасаду здания. Это видно на плане квартиры, листайте он в конце.
Начну с кухни-гостиной. Кухня не стандартной высоты, верхние шкафы имеют дополнительную секцию, где удобно хранить утварь редкого использования. При высоте потолка 4 м. стандартная кухня смотрелась бы низкой. Также высота потолка позволила организовать антресольный этаж с зоной отдыха.
