A cottage in The Hamptons dressed in classic black and white. The large open kitchen features an interesting combination of crisp whites, dark espressos, and black accents. We wanted to contrast traditional cottage design with a more modern aesthetic, including classsic shaker cabinets, wood plank kitchen island, and an apron sink. Contemporary lighting, artwork, and open display shelves add a touch of current trends while optimizing the overall function. We wanted the master bathroom to be chic and timeless, which the custom makeup vanity and uniquely designed Wetstyle tub effortlessly created. A large Merida area rug softens the high contrast color palette while complementing the espresso hardwood floors and Stone Source wall tiles. Project Location: The Hamptons. This two island kitchen brings an elegant whimsy to a French Country Estate style. The hand painted custom hood over the La Cornue range creates a stunning elevation beneath the open hallway upstairs. Thick, detailed mouldings and corbels provide an abundance of "wow" in this stately kitchen.

While this kitchen is of modest dimensions, it features wonderful luxe effects such as the hand hammered Pewter sink and Italian made island table base - Tastefully designed, defying a style label, ensuring its enduring relevance.

About the photo: The cabinets are Mastro Rosolino - our private line of cabinetry. The finish on the perimeter is paint and glazed, the bar and islands are walnut with a stain and glaze. The cabinet style is beaded inset. The hearth features one of our custom reclaimed tin hoods- only available through us. The countertops are Grey-Gold limestone, 2 1/2" thick. The backsplash is polished travertine, chiard, and honey onyx. The backsplash was done by Stratta in Wyckoff, NJ. The flooring is tumbled travertine. The appliances are: Sub-zero BI48S/O, Viking 60" dual fuel range, Viking dishwasher, Viking VMOC206 micro, Viking wine refrigerator, Marvel ice machine. Kitchens of The French Tradition

Encinitas Kitchen Remodel highlights a spectacular mix of finishes bringing this transitional kitchen to life. A balance of wood and painted cabinetry for this Millennial Couple offers their family a kitchen that they can share with friends and family. The clients were certain what they wanted in their new kitchen, they choose Dacor appliances and specially wanted a refrigerator with furniture paneled doors. The only company that would create these refrigerator doors are a full eclipse style without a center bar was a custom cabinet company Ovation Cabinetry. The client had a clear vision about the finishes including the rich taupe painted cabinets which blend perfect with the glam backsplash.

This spacious kitchen in Westchester County is flooded with light from huge windows on 3 sides of the kitchen plus two skylights in the vaulted ceiling. The dated kitchen was gutted and reconfigured to accommodate this large kitchen with crisp white cabinets and walls. Ship lap paneling on both walls and ceiling lends a casual-modern charm while stainless steel toe kicks, walnut accents and Pietra Cardosa limestone bring both cool and warm tones to this clean aesthetic. This crescent shaped pool house was designed as a flex space for a family of five. With its armoire-style murphy bed, it serves as a guest house. The kitchenette with tv, bathroom and outdoor shower contribute to its role as a party space, pool cabana and hang out space for the kids.

Installing a steel beam and removing a dividing wall allowed us create a large open floor plan kitchen for this vibrant young family. The combination of modern and industrial elements give this farmhouse kitchen a stylish edge. The clean white cabinets are warmed up with antique brass hardware as well as the walnut island top and earthy, honed Pietra del Cardoso counter tops. Chunky wood and steel stools and a custom steel backsplash add a rugged industrial touch. HAVEN design+building llc
