Roughan Interior DesignThis Upper East Side prewar interior was specifically designed as a guest apartment for friends and family to stay for long periods of time. They wanted their guests to feel like home while staying in the city. Our criteria was that it had to be functional while remaining tailored, sophisticated and inviting. The space was rather dark so we opted for wallcoverings and paint colors that were soft, textural and exuded contrast. Our design was to completely renovate the living room, bathroom and master bedroom/sitting area. The kitchen was cosmetic with floor stain, paint, hardware and lighting. Grey, taupe, white and black were accents in the living room and created a friendly environment. This room also had to function as a guest room therefore a pullout sofa covered in a Lee Jofa linen was the perfect choice. The Bedroom has a soft palate which is extremely welcoming with touches of silver and pale grey. The hints of peacock blue and brown transform the space completely and work well with the pheasant mirror above the bed. There is also a reading nook where our star Winston occasionally takes naps when he returns from his runs in Central Park. Photo

Gulf Building LLCThis 4,000sqft, two story Spanish Modern home features the traditional red clay roof tiles and front porch and outdoor open arches. Massive columns on the floor plan create a bold statement as well as a space-defining element without inhibiting the view.

Niche InteriorsThe media room features a wool sectional and a pair of vintage Milo Baughman armchairs reupholstered in a snappy green velvet. All upholstered items were made with natural latex cushions wrapped in organic wool in order to eliminate harmful chemicals for our eco and health conscious clients (who were passionate about green interior design). An oversized table functions as a desk or a serving table when our clients entertain large parties.

Carl Mattison DesignThe fireplace mantel was enlarged to go up the wall entirely so that it had a more impressive look to the area of the room where doors flanked it. The tile, while vintage in look is modern in it's size of 2" x 10".
London BasementIn this SW19 property we constructed a 150M² basement, a rear extension with bi-fold doors and a glass covered lightwell across the rear of the house. We also carried out a full house refurbishment, with some photographs shown here.
