This rock feature adds the perfect amount of curb appeal for the homeowners. The warmth of the plants and mulch make it a perfect combination to pair with the rough edged rocks.
Garden of Ease Landscaping & Design
Interesting watercolor-type pattern, these natural stone paver steps help create an eye-catching highlight next to the edible beds.
Extraordinary greenery defines this ultra-modern landscape build. Edible beds show off bright greens, contrasting with the grey of the concrete walls. Ornamental grasses and stunning rock accents add a pop of earthy brightness.
Green & Gorgeous
Fire pit space surrounded by striking architectural planting with rock garden and stepping stone pathway.
Art of Stone Gardening
We looped the driveway up the hill in order to bring the front of the home into full focus. This also made traversing the steep slope much easier. Two boulder walls are planted with drought tolerant perennials.
Treeline Design
A woodland setting, which called for shady plants, native perennials were chosen to fulfill the plan. A stone path walks one to a granite bench for a seat amongst the plants and a broader view of the birches, hemlocks, and ferns of the surrounding forest. The path connects to a stone terrace, of which Treeline collected stones from the Crann ar Bharr property and constructed the stone terrace into the pine and birch forest.

This early-phase Japanese-inspired garden draws from the Buddhist, Shinto, and Taoist philosophies and combines the basic elements of plants, water, and rocks along with simple, clean lines to create a tranquil backyard retreat. Plant material used includes Japanese varieties of trees, shrubs and perennials woven together to create interest throughout each season.
FormLA Landscaping
Simply gorgeous at tour time, the water positive features at the Retreat go to work during rainy season. Expansive tree canopy slows rainfall. Large shrubs and ground covers help spread it. Rock bands in the driveway catch and redirect it into planted spaces. Bioswales help the garden sink water into the groundwater table.
In fall and winter, the copper leaves of a Western Redbud add a pop of seasonal color to an abundance of lush, leafy greenery. Along the right, several native holly leafed cherry shrubs define the property line, providing privacy as they feed the birds.

With the driveway dominating the front of the home, we wanted to improve the landscaping on both sides. A linear group of river birch highlight the right side of the front yard with a mosaic of multiple varieties of carex act as groundcover. Aqua Blue granite boulders and beach pebble panels add texture.
