Haven Design and ConstructionOur clients desired an organic and airy look for their kitchen and living room areas. Our team began by painting the entire home a creamy white and installing all new white oak floors throughout. The former dark wood kitchen cabinets were removed to make room for the new light wood and white kitchen. The clients originally requested an "all white" kitchen, but the designer suggested bringing in light wood accents to give the kitchen some additional contrast. The wood ceiling cloud helps to anchor the space and echoes the new wood ceiling beams in the adjacent living area. To further incorporate the wood into the design, the designer framed each cabinetry wall with white oak "frames" that coordinate with the wood flooring. Woven barstools, textural throw pillows and olive trees complete the organic look. The original large fireplace stones were replaced with a linear ripple effect stone tile to add modern texture. Cozy accents and a few additional furniture pieces were added to the clients existing sectional sofa and chairs to round out the casually sophisticated space.
Emilie Fournet InteriorsThe open plan kitchen with a central moveable island is the perfect place to socialise. With a mix of wooden and zinc worktops, the shaker kitchen in grey tones sits comfortably next to exposed brick works of the chimney breast. The original features of the restored cornicing and floorboards work well with the Smeg fridge and the vintage French dresser.

Mon Concept Habitation
L'objectif principal de ce projet était de transformer ce 2 pièces en 3 pièces, pour créer une chambre d'enfant.
Dans la nouvelle chambre parentale, plus petite, nous avons créé un dressing et un module de rangements sur mesure pour optimiser l'espace. L'espace nuit est délimité par un mur coloré @argilepeinture qui accentue l'ambiance cosy de la chambre.
Dans la chambre d'enfant, le parquet en chêne massif @laparquetterienouvelle apporte de la chaleur à cette pièce aux tons clairs.
La nouvelle cuisine, tendance et graphique, s'ouvre désormais sur le séjour.
Cette grande pièce de vie conviviale accueille un coin bureau et des rangements sur mesure pour répondre aux besoins de nos clients.
Quant à la salle d'eau, nous avons choisi des matériaux clairs pour apporter de la lumière à cet espace sans fenêtres.
Le résultat : un appartement haussmanien et dans l'air du temps où il fait bon vivre !
Schloegel Design RemodelThe contrasting finishes in the space bring a lively atmosphere together for the family to enjoy. The kitchen features mixed materials and soft white painted perimeter cabinetry. The island is an Alder wood with Lapis paint and dry brushed brown glaze. The island top is planked cherry wood, perfect for prep and island seating. The permitter counter is quartz with blue glass stones. A few fun touches such as chicken wire in the upper cabinets customize the kitchen.
Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took a builder basic home and did what others said could not be done. We removed a structural wall that divided the family room -dining area with the living room. Moved the kitchen from its original layout to face the backyard with a view the whole family could enjoy. We focus on clean, simple lines, minimalism, and functionality without sacrificing beauty. White walls, wood floors, modern furniture, and minimalist decor are all hallmark traits of a California aesthetic.
A lot of cost were invested into changing the structure so we keep the materials simple, but we were still able to add wood features in the home like the island, the warm toned light fixture centered over the island adds depth to this personal home.

"This grand detached period property in Teddington suffered from a lack of connectivity with the rear garden as well as a cramped kitchen and poorly lit living spaces.
Replacing the original modest gable end rear extension a collection of new intersecting volumes contain a generous open plan space accommodating a new kitchen, dining area and snug. The existing side return lean-to has also been replaced with a large utility space that boasts full height integrated storage and a new WC.
Taking every opportunity to harness natural light from its east facing orientation an assortment of glazing features including a clearstory window, glazed kitchen splashback, glazed corner window and two roof lights have been carefully positioned to ensure every elevation of the new extension is suitably equipped to capture daylight.
Careful detailing of the recycled bricks from the old extension with new European Larch cladding provide crisply defined apertures containing new expansive full height minimally-framed sliding doors opening up the rear elevation onto a new raised patio space."

The subway tiles were custom made and have what appears to be a texture from a distance, but is actually a herringbone pattern in-lay in the glaze. Haven Design and ConstructionThe kitchen in this Mid Century Modern home is a true showstopper. The designer expanded the original kitchen footprint and doubled the kitchen in size. The walnut dividing wall and walnut cabinets are hallmarks of the original mid century design, while a mix of deep blue cabinets provide a more modern punch. The triangle shape is repeated throughout the kitchen in the backs of the counter stools, the ends of the waterfall island, the light fixtures, the clerestory windows, and the walnut dividing wall.
