Simple transitional style with clean white cabinets and honed countertops was what this client asked for. We opened up the work space around the sink and added a small peninsula with a wide expanse of countertop above. The lack of wall cabinets over the peninsula also gives this space a more open feel. The fluted farmhouse sink ads some visual texture while still looking clean and modern.
