This large, luxurious space is flexible for frequent entertaining while still fostering a sense of intimacy. The desire was for it to feel like it had always been there. With a thoughtful combination of vintage pieces, reclaimed materials adjacent to contemporary furnishings, textures and lots of ingenuity the masterpiece comes together flawlessly.

This new riverfront townhouse is on three levels. The interiors blend clean contemporary elements with traditional cottage architecture. It is luxurious, yet very relaxed. The Weiland sliding door is fully recessed in the wall on the left. The fireplace stone is called Hudson Ledgestone by NSVI. The cabinets are custom. The cabinet on the left has articulated doors that slide out and around the back to reveal the tv. It is a beautiful solution to the hide/show tv dilemma that goes on in many households! The wall paint is a custom mix of a Benjamin Moore color, Glacial Till, AF-390. The trim paint is Benjamin Moore, Floral White, OC-29. Project by Portland interior design studio Jenni Leasia Interior Design. Also serving Lake Oswego, West Linn, Vancouver, Sherwood, Camas, Oregon City, Beaverton, and the whole of Greater Portland. First LampFirst Lamp
This Greenlake area home is the result of an extensive collaboration with the owners to recapture the architectural character of the 1920’s and 30’s era craftsman homes built in the neighborhood. Deep overhangs, notched rafter tails, and timber brackets are among the architectural elements that communicate this goal. Given its modest 2800 sf size, the home sits comfortably on its corner lot and leaves enough room for an ample back patio and yard. An open floor plan on the main level and a centrally located stair maximize space efficiency, something that is key for a construction budget that values intimate detailing and character over size.
