This home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, are known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. The great room has trussed ceiling and clerestory windows that flood the space with indirect natural light. Nano style doors opening to a covered screened in porch leading out to the pool. Metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, moroccan CLE tile backsplash, quartzite countertops,

Level Three: We selected a suspension light (metal, glass and silver-leaf) as a key feature of the living room seating area to counter the bold fireplace. It lends drama (albeit, subtle) to the room with its abstract shapes. The silver planes become ephemeral when they reflect and refract the environment: high storefront windows overlooking big blue skies, roaming clouds and solid mountain vistas.

Sometimes things just happen organically. This client reached out to me in a professional capacity to see if I wanted to advertise in his new magazine. I declined at that time because as team we have chosen to be referral based, not advertising based.
Even with turning him down, he and his wife decided to sign on with us for their basement... which then upon completion rolled into their main floor (part 2).
They wanted a very distinct style and already had a pretty good idea of what they wanted. We just helped bring it all to life. They wanted a kid friendly space that still had an adult vibe that no longer was based off of furniture from college hand-me-down years.
Since they loved modern farmhouse style we had to make sure there was shiplap and also some stained wood elements to warm up the space.
This space is a great example of a very nice finished basement done cost-effectively without sacrificing some comforts or features.

Clients wanted to capture their love of wine, entertaining, and great design, and ended up with a floating glass catwalk leading to built-in customized wine racks. Including built-in drawer banks covered in wine boxes, engineered stone veneer covering wall, custom chandelier in kitchen with recycled concrete counter tops and custom hood and cabinets.

Inspired by fantastic views, there was a strong emphasis on natural materials and lots of textures to create a hygge space.
Making full use of that awkward space under the stairs creating a bespoke made cabinet that could double as a home bar/drinks area

Living spaces were opened up. Dark Paneling removed and new steel and glass opening to view the backyard and let in plenty of natural light.

This game room contains a sliding barn door that closes to darken the space, its own amazing wet bar, and plenty of Texas memorabilia like the 12,000+ pound granite sink in the bathroom.

Beautiful walnut built-ins for the entertainment center become a focal point of this great room. A cozy sofa and loveseat are dressed with performance fabrics and embellished with nail heads - the arrangement is perfect for entertaining and for quiet family nights at home. Two custom-made ottomans on castors allow ease of movement for serving, sitting, or as footrests. The custom end table is a variation on a classic with a fresh, artistic twist and clean, graceful lines; the finish coordinates with its surroundings and the grain adds interest. The area rug warms and grounds the grouping. The shuffleboard table provides extra family fun.
