This formal living room is located directly off of the main entry of a traditional style located just outside of Seattle on Mercer Island. Our clients wanted a space where they could entertain, relax and have a space just for mom and dad. We created custom built-ins that include bench seating with storage, a bookcase and a perfect spot to enjoy a great book and cup of tea!

Faux river rock panels create a natural, charming accent wall that defines both the traditional wood fireplace but also creates a focal point for the entire living room.

This fireplace used to be dark brick with dark oak bookshelves. The change is night and day different and so much lighter and brighter and more up to date.

This bay-fronted living room was transformedww thanks to a new bold colour scheme. We added panelling to create depth with a deep blue on the walls and tonal grey to lower the tall ceilings and create a more intimate setting. The furniture was replaced with bespoke sofa and fabric from British sofa maker William Yeoward. The gas fireplace was also replaced and curtains lined with a border to give them a new lease of life.

We added the soffit with arches, floating glass shelves and enclosed storage on each side of the fireplace. Replaced her TV with the new Art led TV. Replaced the wall color that reflects the blues that she loves in her room. Applied soft colored solar shades as window treatment not only to protect her furniture from the sun but to soften the feel in this bright living room
