The heart of the home consists of the living room and the family room, separated by a large two sided fire place. This created the sense of 'rooms' in a largely open part of the house. The finishes are modern while the furniture is soft and comfortable.

The fireplace acts as a pivot point for the design, as it faces the Bay view while its backside becomes the crossing main hallway and a shaft of light becomes the center point.

Looking down from the mid-level entry, into the living room, the view and a little of the dining room. The dominant theme is the overwhelming strength of the steel beam work. The holes add a sense of whimsy, like aircraft hanger or art deco styling. The ceiling is lit by led strips on top of the steel beam grid.

How many homes can boast they have an overhead door that opens to a patio and pool? The outdoors meld in to interior space for easy living and the sparkling concrete floor gives the room a creative punch. A gas fireplace balances the built-in TV. Dog is optional.

The cabinet serves to redefine a new entry, while also containing all the media related electronics such as, surround sound speakers, the flat panel television, and the various amplifiers and subwoofers. This cabinet and the opposite wall are clad with hot rolled steel and flank the living room in order to direct the relationship of the space between that of the kitchen, living room, and the outdoor patio.
