The Goody Nook, named by the owners in honor of one of their Great Grandmother's and Great Aunts after their bake shop they ran in Ohio to sell baked goods, thought it fitting since this space is a place to enjoy all things that bring them joy and happiness. This studio, which functions as an art studio, workout space, and hangout spot, also doubles as an entertaining hub. Used daily, the large table is usually covered in art supplies, but can also function as a place for sweets, treats, and horderves for any event, in tandem with the kitchenette adorned with a bright green countertop. An intimate sitting area with 2 lounge chairs face an inviting ribbon fireplace and TV, also doubles as space for them to workout in. The powder room, with matching green counters, is lined with a bright, fun wallpaper, that you can see all the way from the pool, and really plays into the fun art feel of the space. With a bright multi colored rug and lime green stools, the space is finished with a custom neon sign adorning the namesake of the space, "The Goody Nook”.

On the serrated coastline of Fistral Bay, a new residence sits on top of a tiered terrace garden on cliffs of Esplanade Road. As the clients’ home and workspace, the design brief is to be inventive with a minimal material palette. Internally, the house celebrates local materials by featuring bare concrete blocks, revealing the beauty in stonemasonry of the region. With exposed galvanised contuits, ductwork, and industrial light fittings, the architecture is truthful to the unembellished infrastructure that powers it.

Maaemo - Mother Earth - is the name our clients adopted for their Reservoir renovation. This theme of connecting back to nature informed the design and led to the creation of a series of spaces that were intended to nurture. By using recycled materials, maximising northern light and providing strong connections to the outdoors, we were able to design a home that fosters family living with a sense of grounding and togetherness. Featuring passive solar principles, soaring exposed rafters, plentiful natural light and a snug sunken living area, this home is comfortable, energy efficient and exciting to inhabit.

Christmas holiday design for an amazing exotic animal conservation ranch in Texas. Our goal was to deliver a holiday scheme indicative of rustic Texas. For year 2013 our look was to design with a color palette of red, green, tan and gold pulling from the use of natural elements, often found on the ranch, such as pheasant and ostrich feathers, deer sheds, lichen covered branches, beautiful vintage fowl and small critter taxidermy, massive pine comes, silver birch branches, natural nests, etc.. mixed with vintage wood skis, copper bladed ice skates, rustic lanterns with battery operated candles on remote, etc.. mixed with layers of printed burlap and crystal velvet brocade ribbon, beads, burnished gold glass ornaments, red velvet poinsettias, etc..
