This serene and light-filled living space received a full decorative update by ABP Interiors. The existing furniture was carefully reupholstered in fresh, patterned fabrics to breathe new life into beloved pieces. Walls and built-in joinery were repainted in a soft neutral palette, creating a calm and cohesive backdrop. The new wool carpet adds comfort and warmth underfoot, while custom curtains and a shaped pelmet in a delicate floral fabric complete the look. Every detail, from lamps to accent cushions, was thoughtfully layered for a soft, inviting finish.

Heartbeat House transforms a modest Victorian cottage into a welcoming, multi-generational home centred on family and wellbeing. Our clients wanted a space that fosters social gatherings while ensuring privacy for their family of four, including our client's live-in mother. The home balances openness and togetherness, blending indoor and outdoor experiences seamlessly. The original cottage houses bedrooms, bathrooms and multi-use spaces, transitioning to a modern extension featuring soft Victorian Ash cabinetry, a double-vaulted ceiling, and large windows that open to lush, landscaped gardens. The private garden sanctuary, elevated above street level, creates a suburban oasis, designed in collaboration with Saint Remy. Inside, custom joinery ensures thoughtful storage, making communal spaces versatile. A hidden study nook and bar transition easily from work to play. The materials palette features lime-washed Victorian Ash timber, polished concrete floors, and Australian-sourced materials, balancing softness with strength. The result is a harmonious home where multiple generations can live together, with flexible spaces for socializing and retreat. Heartbeat House celebrates meaningful togetherness, offering a peaceful and functional suburban escape.

A contemporary luxury kitchen inside House J, a riverside apartment at The Dumont on Albert Embankment, London, designed by SASI Studio. The kitchen features a large island with bar seating, bespoke cabinetry, soft neutral finishes and a refined minimalist palette. Full-height glazing connects the space to the balcony and Thames-side setting, creating a bright, elegant kitchen suited to modern central London apartment living.

A comprehensive reconfiguration and refurbishment of a 17th Century farmhouse and outbuildings into a large family house. An all encompassing design from the conversion of a threshing barn and reconfiguration of the conjoined farmhouses to the design of bespoke joinery and furniture and the sourcing of decorative lighting, objects and soft furnishings. An early decision was made to raise the existing barn trusses and lower its floor to create a dramatic double height volume in two thirds of the space leaving the final third for a utility and loo with a mezzanine study above. The original king post and bottom chords were reused and occasional new webbing posts were inserted. All timber was de-nailed and lightly sanded to remove the darkened varnish and despite a new roof, the reclaimed roof tiles and wonky ridgeline produced the feeling of minimum intervention. In reality the fabric of the barn had to be efficiently insulated with new windows and there was the obvious replacement of the large barn doors with a bespoke bronze glazing system. It was this juxtaposition of new and ancient that played out so well such as the brick with lime mortar and the threshing barn shutters against the micro cement floor and limed plywood staircase and mezzanine. This contemporary palette extended into the remainder of the refurbished outbuildings so that when it came to the junction between the barn and host farmhouse, the change to a more period- based set of materials was an obvious and easy transition. Wide existing floorboards were made good and re-stained, layers of yellow sealant removed from existing flagstones and painted timber wall and ceiling beams sanded and limed. This clear honouring of the period building still gave us an opportunity to design bespoke contemporary joinery, specify a variety of complementary hard finishes elsewhere as well as providing a full interior decorative service, that sourced special items of furniture, decorative lighting and objects.

The living and dining space is opened towards the middle patio that goes out to the rooftop terrace. The patio opens from all sides creating inside outside feel.

This beautiful property has been brought to life through thoughtful interior design. Our goal was to enhance the building’s existing character while creating an inviting, cosy atmosphere. A strong accent colour has been introduced to uplift the spaces, complemented by richly textured materials. Finishes such as liquid metal on the cabinetry and bouclé fabrics add depth and tactile interest, elevating the overall design.

Custom-made joinery and media wall designed and fitted by us for a family in Harpenden after moving into this new home. Looking to make the most of the large living room area they wanted a place to relax as well as storage for a large book collection. A media wall was built to house a beautiful electric fireplace finished with alcove units and floating shelves with LED lighting features. All done with solid American white oak and spray finished doors on soft close blum hinges.

Every detail has been meticulously considered, from the lighting choices and colour schemes to the hidden man cave and feature walls, creating a home that is both practical and aesthetically stunning. The home’s natural honey-coloured stone exterior blends seamlessly with the landscape, giving the appearance of a property that has stood in its location for centuries. This oak-framed masterpiece combines modern luxury with timeless charm, making it the perfect countryside retreat.

This Hamptons Villa celebrates summer living by opening up onto a spacious lawn bordered by lush vegetation complete with a 20 m pool. The villa is positioned on the north end of the site and opens in a large swooping arch both in plan and in elevation to the south. Upon approaching the villa from the North, one is struck by the verboding monolithic and opaque quality of the form. However, from the south the villa is completely open and porous. Architecturally the villa speaks to the long tradition of gable roof residential architecture in the area. The villa is organized around a large double height great room which hosts all the social functions of the house; kitchen, dining, salon, library with loft and guestroom above. On either side of the great room are terraces that lead to the private master suite and bedrooms. As the program of the house gets more private the roof becomes lower. Hosting artists is an integral part of the culture of the Hamptons. As such our Villa provides for a spacious artist’s studio to use while in residency at the villa.
