Living Room with Dark Built In Bookcases

Even though the house had an open floor plan, there was a lot of space that was not being utilized. The living room had 24’valuted ceilings with a lot of unused wall space, so we decided to add drama by opening up the master bedroom above and adding a balcony including French doors to overlook the newly updated living room. We added detail to the ceiling to help emphasize the height of the space. The dark wood and ornate detail bring together the whole feel of luxury.
