A bright, vibrant, rustic, and minimalist interior is showcased throughout this one-of-a-kind 3D home. We opted for reds, oranges, bold patterns, natural textiles, and ample greenery throughout. The goal was to represent the energetic and rustic tones of El Salvador, since that is where the first village will be printed. We love the way the design turned out as well as how we were able to utilize the style, color palette, and materials of the El Salvadoran region! Designed by Sara Barney’s BANDD DESIGN, who are based in Austin, Texas and serving throughout Round Rock, Lake Travis, West Lake Hills, and Tarrytown. This client came to me with a vision after moving into their new home- they wanted cozy, warm, and livable. At heart, they still love the classic and traditional design of European styled furniture, but knew they needed an update. The crisp white coverlet, and herringbone linen duvet and Euros are fresh, clean, and elegant. This bright monochromatic custom bedding is the perfect balance to the rich dark mahogany woods and deep taupe paint on the walls. This Master Bedroom is a breath of fresh air; the perfect retreat.

The challenge in this room was to create good head-height whilst maintaining the roof line. I convinced the client to put the master bedroom in the roof to create a sanctuary away from the rest of the house and the kids in the rooms below. During the build we uncovered the triangle in the wall and decided to create a feature of it. Now the client loves sleeping within the alcove and special loft bed was sourced to sit under it. The wall features Benjamin Moore Hot Lips paint - a colour that can be seen elsewhere in the house. Adam Carter Photography & Philippa Spearing Styling

Upstairs a curved upper landing hallway leads to the master suite, creating wing-like privacy for adult escape. Another two-sided fireplace, wrapped in unique designer finishes, separates the bedroom from an ensuite with luxurious steam shower and sunken soaker tub-for-2. Passing through the spa-like suite leads to a dressing room of ample shelving, drawers, and illuminated hang-rods, this master is truly a serene retreat. photography: Paul Grdina

A relaxing ensuite master bedroom we designed for this getaway home! Trendy meets tranquil in this design, with a beach-inspired color palette, unique artwork, and luxurious textiles. The master bedroom has a stunning focal point - the custom headboard in a contrasting black. The headboard is large and in charge and also offers conveniently placed side tables. In the master bathroom, a classic wooden vanity is introduced to more contemporary aesthetics through the vessel bowl sinks and wall-mounted faucets. Gray countertops and a gray tiled backsplash work harmoniously together while the black-framed vanity mirror complements the black trim on the vanity. Project completed by New York interior design firm Betty Wasserman Art & Interiors, which serves New York City, as well as across the tri-state area and in The Hamptons.
