Patterns of light zebra wood echo in the stone finger tile patterns throughout the master bathroom. The sensuality of the space is organic and brings a tropically natural feel to the geometry of the room.

Stepping into this Master Bathroom retreat will leave you believing you are in a European resort. The soft palette with faux painting on the walls gives a feeling of tranquility and relaxation. Custom cabinetry and trim work enhance the beauty of the vanity. Frame-less shower glass keeps the space feeling open.

We plastered the walls and ceilings throughout this expansive Hill Country home for Baxter Design Group. The plastering and the custom stained beams and woodwork throughout give this home an authentic Old World vibe.

can't get enough of this cobalt blue! love the way it takes on different (though always dramatic) character throughout the house

Down-to-studs remodel and second floor addition. The original house was a simple plain ranch house with a layout that didn’t function well for the family. We changed the house to a contemporary Mediterranean with an eclectic mix of details. Space was limited by City Planning requirements so an important aspect of the design was to optimize every bit of space, both inside and outside. The living space extends out to functional places in the back and front yards: a private shaded back yard and a sunny seating area in the front yard off the kitchen where neighbors can easily mingle with the family. A Japanese bath off the master bedroom upstairs overlooks a private roof deck which is screened from neighbors’ views by a trellis with plants growing from planter boxes and with lanterns hanging from a trellis above.

Model Remodel
The homeowners wanted a large bathroom that would transport them a world away and give them a spa experience at home. Two vanities, a water closet and a wet room steam shower are tailored to the cosmopolitan couple who lives there.
