The family room was updated with custom faux finishes on the walls and fireplace mantel, the sectional was found local, the ottoman was reupholstered in a genuine cowhide and the rug is a current production item. What brought this room together was how the drapery panels turned out ... I'm crazy about them!! Great inexpensive fabric find off the bolt and then added a jute ribbon and tassle trim which was a bit pricy $$$ but doing so made the drapes and room look magnificent! All the florals were custom.

This beautiful Spanish Colonial on the lake in Pablo Creek Reserve is nearly 4000 SF and consists of four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms and a 'flex room' that can be used as a study or fifth bedroom. Architectural authentic, this home includes an open floor plan ideal for entertaining. An extensive lanai with summer kitchen brings the outdoors in. Ceiling treatments include coffered ceilings in the great room and dining room and barrel vaults in the kitchen and master bath. Thermador appliances, Kohler and Waterworks plumbing fixtures and wood beams bring functionality and character to the home.

A California Mission-style home in Hillsborough was designed by the architect Farro Esslatt. The clients had an extensive contemporary collection and wanted a warm mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings.

Expansive family room off the kitchen, also designed in a neutral palette, but using more mushroom tones and creams here. I designed a wall unit to fill the entire fourth wall to hold the large screen tv and provide storage below.
Chandelier is by Paul Ferrante & custom sized, ottoman by RTfacts, with zinc top, very practical for kids, sectional was existing, purchased by clients. The velvet drapery serves to soften the walls, pull tones from the sectional and fireplace and keep the room from becoming too casual.

This family room was designed for entertainment. This side of the room features a built-in entertainment cabinet complete with grill insets on the lower cabinet doors to allow for ventilation and south transfer from TV equipment. The TV is flanked with window seats for more seating capacity. Drawers under the seats provide additional storage for movies and CDs. Custom window treatments feature a decorative valance for color, with roman shades below for privacy and light control.
