Zenful Gardens
Beginning with a brand new conceptual design, we helped turn an old lawn, into a Mediterranean style outdoor living space. Complete with a new patio, custom boulder fountain, uplighting, olive tree, hand stacked rock wall, steel edging to help create depth & structure, and a hand-selected grouping of plants and boulders to give this yard exceptional character.

Lagoon-side property in the Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA. Entertaining and enjoying the views were a primary design goal for this project. The project includes a large camaru deck with built-in seating. The concrete steps and pavers lead down to the water's edge. I included a sunken patio on one side and a beautiful Buddha statue on the other, surrounded by succulents and other low-water, contemporary plantings. I also used Dymondia ground cover to create a natural pathways within this sustainable garden design. Featured plants: Euphorbia 'Blackbird', Bulbine frutescens 'Orange Form', Blue oat grass, Achillea 'Coronation Gold', New Zealand Wind Grass and Sea Lavender.

Urban Oasis Landscape Design
The clients wanted a garden that would be drought tolerant and extremely low maintenance. We decided on a stamped concrete finish for the driveway and paved areas. The existing mature olive tree got new life as the centerpiece of this desert-like landscape filled with Euphorbia characais wulfenii, Rockrose, Lantana, Pride of Madeira and Yucca whipplei.
Mediterrasian Landscapes
This 3D drawing was part of the design package. This couple wanted to make their typical San Francisco backyard into something special. The yard had some nice plants but little useable space or attractive ground treatment. They had built a kidney-shaped planter with block walls as a weekend project a few years back, and they wanted to keep this. We came up with a design that used the kidney-shaped planter as a focal point. We added a lot of useable space with a bi-level concentric circular patio. By constructing the patio on two levels, we were able to keep most of the excavated soil on site instead of bringing it to the landfill. The outer circle consists of interlocking concrete pavers, while the raised inner circle is paved with natural Arizona flagstone. We enhanced the kidney planter by making another circular planter around it from matching wall blocks. The circular tree beds add interest by echoing the circle theme of the yard.
Landscape Logic
Landscape Logic creates amazing designs and installations. Most or our projects include a shade structure, an outdoor kitchen, a firepit, sometimes a fireplace, pool and spa, artificial turf, plants, trees, outdoor lighting, and drip irrigation.
