At night the lights go on. Not only do they really create a mood, they also keep everyone safe and from accidentally taking a midnight dip!

This Bridge is intended to be similar to the Masters at Augusta. It can be driven over and water flows under it from the biological filter behind it. This Project Includes a large Waterfall, 100' of Stream, 3 Bridges, over 1000' of stone walls, a 500,000 gallon pond, an amphitheater, a peninsula, a beach, a boat launch ramp, boulders throughout the entire pond, large trees, a boat dock, stone stairs, multiple terraces out of decomposed granite, and a large parking area. The Waterfall, which is the start of this large waterfeature, acts as the Cornerstone for this Project. A number of the boulders are up to 8 feet across! About 1200 gallons a minute (72,000gph) flows over this waterfall. The waterfeature moves 2000 gallons a minute (120,000gph) when everything is flowing! The waterfall drops about 17' in total and the stream drops about 3' for a total of 20' of elevation change. There are koi, goldfish, and shubunkins in the pond! The pond is used for vineyard irrigation as well as aesthetics. This Photo by Dronesey https://www.facebook.com/Dronesey/?fref=ts

Spectacular red granite boulders through out the rough landscape, harsh winds, intense heat and sometimes, even snow, were all horticultural challenges and inspirations on this beautiful Mediterranean seaside property. Nicholas Walker and his team worked in conjunction with his brother Malcolm to create a stunning series of Belgian Blue Stone terraces and pathways to connect the diverse sections of the property and integrate the indoor and outdoor living experience. They designed a sheltered cactus oasis, organic culinary garden and an intimate Ipe observation deck as virtual rooms linked by the elegant stone pathways and framed by the sea.

Designing a garden decking maybe a function of a simple terrace design or it may serve as a complex arrangement of timber and represent something more like a garden sculpture. In this instance, it performs as the central terrace, the style is simple but the function is an important one. The materials choice even more so in the scheme, the client was spoilt for choice. They had a clear agenda of using materials that were low carbon, FSC certified, cradle to cradle gold and had a warranty. The resulted in a limited choice and pointed to Kebony ®. The clients loved the product and as the colour was reminiscent of a rich walnut it was a simple choice for them. Led by Karl Harrison from Karl Harrison Landscapes Ltd, have been designing and building decking terraces since 2003. This decking platform terrace is tasteful, modern and matches the quality of the rest of the landscaping scheme. Garden decking platforms have often been shown in poor taste in recent years but these professionally designed and built terraces to often solve more problems than they create. The do add to the biophilic dynamic of a garden. The timber is much softer on the eye than any granite or concrete products. It is easily maintained and once weathered to that beautiful grey really does add to the garden and works so well with the soft landscaping.
