Is there anything more fun than outdoor entertaining? The house, patio and lawn all flow together to create one seamless space that appears to go forever. Here we worked to create the kind of atmosphere you find in an Italian Piazza with the outdoor market lights strung from the house to the tree and speakers hidden in strategic locations filling the air with music.

The lamps are from Mexico , hand selected by the client while on vacation. We designed all the guest rooms around each of the unique ceramic lamps. Custom drapery filters the sun washing the room with a candle light glow.

Dig Your Garden Landscape Design
The traditional fountain and surroundings are embellished with a variety of drought tolerant grasses, flowering plants and succulents. The removal of the dense and overgrown shrubs provides more outdoor living space for dining and entertaining for the homeowners' enjoyment. And now with site-appropriate plants and no lawn there is less maintenance and a lower water bill. Full color Blue stone and small mexican pebbles replace the lawn and pathways resulting in an updated and contemporary transformation. A variety of low-water plants including succulents offer year-round appeal and interest throughout the seasons to include Sedum rupestre 'Angelina', with chartreuse foliage, other varieties of sedum along with Echeveria succulents, Echinacea and grases. This client wanted the Italian Tuscan inspired kitchen with warm and creamy colors. I also wanted to create an island that was a bit different, one that is not connected to the ground, works as a prep space and also a seating area. The black is a beautiful contrast to the creamy coconut cabinets and travertine backsplash.
