We often come across clients looking for small space ideas. Our first recommendation is always to go bright. The depth of our glaze color adds visual interest and a bold color choice helps make a space appear larger. Posh and polished (just like the homeowner) this stunning sapphire blue bathroom will have you in awe. The owner of this amazing lake house is our friend Rachel Shingleton of Pencil Shavings Studio. Her refined design-eye coupled with our bright and bold tile transformed this small bathroom into the perfect master bath. And could you believe it? This is a super simple project! Read on to learn more about this design and how to achieve the look yourself. Another great way to open up a small bathroom is by using smaller tile! Our regular Hexagons are the great example of this - approximately 2"x2" their small size maximizes the rest of the room, and their classic shape is perfect for a bathroom floor.

Penny round ceramic tile on the floor with large format stone wall tile gives this master bath warmth will keeping an undertone of tradition.

Bath project was to demo and remove existing tile and tub and convert to a shower, new counter top and replace bath flooring. Vanity Counter Top – MS International Redwood 6”x24” Tile with a top mount copper bowl and Delta Venetian Bronze Faucet. Shower Walls: MS International Redwood 6”x24” Tile in a horizontal offset pattern. Shower Floor: Emser Venetian Round Pebble. Plumbing: Delta in Venetian Bronze. Shower Door: Frameless 3/8” Barn Door Style with Oil Rubbed Bronze fittings. Bathroom Floor: Daltile 18”x18” Fidenza Bianco.

Master Bathroom - We removed the traditional tub and show to create a Large walk-in shower with a beautiful white and grey toned tiles. We also added a new vanity with quartz counter tops and wood plank tile flooring. Guest Bathroom - For the guest bathroom we replaced the vanity with new cabinets and added quartz counter tops, replaced the tub shower combo and added tile surround with a small touch of soap niche detail and completed with wood plank tile flooring to match the master bathroom.

As you can see the bathroom vanity and countertop ties in nicely with the rest of the home.

Richard Downer This Georgian property is in an outstanding location with open views over Dartmoor and the sea beyond. Our brief for this project was to transform the property which has seen many unsympathetic alterations over the years with a new internal layout, external renovation and interior design scheme to provide a timeless home for a young family. The property required extensive remodelling both internally and externally to create a home that our clients call their “forever home”. Our refurbishment retains and restores original features such as fireplaces and panelling while incorporating the client's personal tastes and lifestyle. More specifically a dramatic dining room, a hard working boot room and a study/DJ room were requested. The interior scheme gives a nod to the Georgian architecture while integrating the technology for today's living. Generally throughout the house a limited materials and colour palette have been applied to give our client's the timeless, refined interior scheme they desired. Granite, reclaimed slate and washed walnut floorboards make up the key materials.

This vanity was bought from a big box store but has some nice lines and the integrated towel holders on the chamfered corners make this piece look more expensive.

A small bathroom is given a clean, bright, and contemporary look. Storage was key to this design, so we made sure to give our clients plenty of hidden space throughout the room. We installed a full-height linen closet which, thanks to the pull-out shelves, stays conveniently tucked away as well as vanity with U-shaped drawers, perfect for storing smaller items. The shower also provides our clients with storage opportunity, with two large shower niches - one with four built-in glass shelves. For a bit of sparkle and contrast to the all-white interior, we added a copper glass tile accent to the second niche. This modern floating vanity is constructed of Maxfine Eramosa with a polished finish. A large round mirror and brass artistic pendant by Arteriors finish off the detailing of this sleek and sophisticated powder room.
