This home office maximizes storage and function and eliminates distracting clutter. A large desk, custom built-in, and extra shelves allow our client to have an organized workspace with a place for everything. Artwork and wallpaper give the interior a burst of style and personality.

This commission involved the renovation and conversion of two duplex apartments into one single residence/retreat. The two existing external stairs were removed and replaced by a single internal staircase. This intervention made it possible to create one large outdoor area and maximise the existing view. The steel canopies and wooden sun terraces act as visual links between the two original living units. In collaboration with Minimum Arquitectura.

This custom space was once a dining room and has transformed into a home office. Clean and neutral with a touch of coastal....makes this space feel great when working in it.

This is the guest room for the young man who visits on occasion. It has a sofa bed so the room can be used as a den when no one is in residence. The homeowner created a gallery wall of her travels, and also incorporated souvenirs and memories from the young man's previous bedroom to make him feel right at home. A 10" long closet along one wall provides the storage space the homeowner lost when the garage was converted. She cleared out a lot of unneeded belongings and organized what was left to fit here, and in multiple other storage areas we incorporated in the remodel. She much prefers that everything is now stored inside the house and easily accessible. Win-win!

A gorgeous home office adorned in elegant woods and unique patterns and textiles. Red leathers look extremely posh while the blue and white patterned carpet nod to our client's British style. Other details that make this look complete are the patterned window treatments, carefully decorated built-in shelves, and of course, the compass mural on the ceiling.
Designed by Michelle Yorke Interiors who also serves Seattle as well as Seattle's Eastside suburbs from Mercer Island all the way through Cle Elum.

This is where we work. We wanted it to reflect our style and be functional. Good ideas for home office, craft room or studio space.
