This front yard went from water hogging grass and old school roses, to a flourishing native garden. As an added echo perk, we repurposed broken cement to create a little retaining wall and parkway path.

A new DG pathway replaces a tired lawn and connects two outdoor seating areas and a shady seating nook in the corner. The custom outdoor kitchen is shaded from the hot afternoon sun with a custom L-shaped pergola. A basalt water feature adds soothing sound and plant materials such as Dianella, Meyer Fern and Pittosporum add cool texture during hot summers.

Our client hired us to renovate their yard that had an old patio that was installed incorrectly years previous. They wanted as maintenance free as possible but with a definite budget in mind. Lastly, they wanted to begin to grow a lot of vegetables at home and therefore wanted some raised cedar planters to suit their needs. We utilized rundle for the bedding areas and concrete edges for ease of maintaining the property in their retirement years. Great project!!
