Aralia’s innovative approach to garden design runs through all of our projects including those of a more traditional nature. We specialise in beautiful, traditional gardens appealing to those with a more classical approach to garden design. Though better known for our Roof top Terraces; we pride ourselves on our completion of designs for country houses including Victorian Townhouses, Grade II listed homes, and rural country cottages. Both commercially and residential, we aim to create unique and extraordinary spaces that are diverse in their uses. Aralia aim to break our designs free from the cliché of ‘traditional being boring’, and instead aim to create new and exciting landscapes. From entertaining spaces, to classical family hubs; Aralia transforms clients’ gardens and outdoor spaces. Aralia creates gardens with a traditional feel via our choice of materials, style and planting. We always take on board the architecture, surrounding landscape, and local aesthetic to make sure our designs partner well with all existing components. We are proud to have succeeded in our ventures into traditional garden designs, with Aralia having won many awards for our rural gardens, including the 2013 BALI Landscape Design Excellence Award (Little Eden), and the 2014, SGD Finalist for Best Small Residential Garden (Regents Park House).

Villa Bog è lo spazio ideale dove potere trascorrere un periodo di relax in mezzo alla natura senza rinunciare alle comodità di tutti i giorni. A 5km da Città della Pieve, 20km dal Lago Trasimeno, 30km da Perugia e Chianciano Terme, 45km da Assisi e Todi è un punto di partenza ideale dove soggiornare per chi vuole visitare l'Umbria e i suoi incantevoli borghi senza dovere per forza rinunciare alla comodità e fascino di una villa totalmente ristrutturata situata all'interno di un residence. La villa è stata ristrutturata recentissimamente dai proprietari, l'architetto Vitelli Mariaester che si è occupato degli arredamenti e un laureato in ingegneria elettronica Crova Emmanuel che ha curato l'aspetto domotico e l'illuminazione della proprietà. Suddivisa su due livelli, al piano terra si trova un ampio soggiorno con camino che contraddistingue la zona living e si affaccia alla zona pranzo con cucina open-space a vista e uno sbocco diretto alla zona est della proprietà, tramite una terrazza che circonda l'intero fabbricato, la quale conduce alla zona barbecue dove si possono trovare un forno a legna e un braciere attrezzati. Completano il piano terra due camere da letto matrimoniali e un bagno con box doccia oltre ad una generosa dispensa posizionata in un disimpegno antistante camere e bagno. Al primo livello, raggiungibile grazie ad una rampa di scale dalla zona living del soggiorno situato al piano terra, si possono trovare due ampie camere matrimoniali e un altro bagno di servizio completo con box doccia la cui peculiarità è rappresentata dal fatto che questo vano sia stato ricavato sfruttando la struttura pre-esistente senza stravolgere l'urbanistica dell'immobile (tanto che la finestra è stata mantenuta all'interno del box doccia). La proprietà è circondata da 900mq di giardino dotato di irrigazione automatizzata. L'illuminazione è sicuramente il punto forte della proprietà: si tratta di un sistema domotico full LED basato su protocollo ZigBee che permette di comandare il tutto da un'unità centrale (si trarra di un iPad) posizionata all'ingresso del soggiorno e trasportabile in giro per la superficie dell'immobile e del giardino. Questa unità può ovviamente essere utilizzata anche per altri scopi quali la navigazione internet, o la condivisione tramite protocollo cast/DLNA alle TV presenti nell'immobile (una di loro si trova all'interno di uno schienale del divano del soggiorno al piano terra e compare grazie alla pressione di un tasto sul telecomando).

Our landscape design creates a large contemporary garden that seamlessly integrates modern architecture, by award-winning architects shedkm, with the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside. The garden design employs some of the design principles of an 'English landscape garden' in a bold, imaginative way, and with a contemporary palette of materials, to create a beautiful, modern country garden. Restrained and crisp hard landscaping is set against the loose, naturalistic and wildlife-friendly planting. The planting softens the architecture and helps connect the house to the beautiful rural landscape.

Red banana passion fruit flower and foliage growing on a boundary fence that has been wired to provide support. The flowers are large and incredibly beautiful. The edible fruit is larger than the common purple variety and has about three times the pulp in each fruit. Slightly sweeter than purple as well and without the sharpness.

This property boasts acres of surrounding land but the clients wanted to create an intimate garden space close to the house – one where the family share al fresco meals and precious time together relaxing by a new pool. The bespoke pool-house offers both and is the perfect place to enjoy the evening sun. Planting here is minimal restricted to sculptural mature olives in oak sleeper planters under-planted with the tall elegant flower wands of lavender grosso. In questo giardino da me realizzato, si è voluto ricreare l'atmosfera di un tempo ma con occhi attenti al mondo moderno. Sfere e cubi di bossi, lecci e svariati Miscanhtus creano struttura, mentre le piante erbacee donano colore durante l'anno portando movimento, profumi, sensazioni. Il resto del giardino è ancora work in progress ma non tarderanno ad arrivare nuove foto.
