This client felt lost as far as design and selection. She'd already received my counsel regarding refinishing and the color of her kitchen cabinets. When she reached out to me again to assist with organizing her home and suggesting a few new pieces I was elated. A majority of the project consisted of relocating existing furniture and accessories as well as purging items that didn't work well with the design style. The guest room was transformed when we painted a lovely green color over the orange walls. The room that saw the most change was the dining room as it got all new furniture, a rug and wall color. His and Hers Flat-panel dark wood cabinets contrasts with the neutral tile and deep textured countertop. A skylight draws in light and creates a feeling of spaciousness through the glass shower enclosure and a stunning natural stone full height backsplash brings depth to the entire space. The homeowners wanted the main floor bathroom renovation to mimic the 1930's esthetic of the rest of the home but with a fresh perspective. The centre piece is a classic cast iron claw foot tub. A pedestal sink was chosen for its small footprint and design simplicity. Polished chrome plumbing fixtures were selected for their timeless appeal. Cove moldings are simple yet elegant while the shapely glass knobs on the cabinets add a hint of glamour. A contrasting simple black chandelier draws the eye upward to appreciate the nine foot ceiling. Modern touches included adding dimmer switches and a heated floor, achieving the overall classic environment with a fresh new twist.

Removed all of the existing flooring, tile, carpet, shower and vanity area. Re-built shower to a 5 x 7 walk-in with travertine tile and accents with Kohler fixtures. Re-installed claw foot tub from guest bath. We built new cabinetry with self-closing hinges. The owner found a beautfiul creama marfil solid surface marble which we used through-out all the tops in this space. The homeowners had a great idea about a coffee bar off the master bedroom to make it a truly delightful master suite.

Vintage glam at it's finest. Marble floors, walls and ceilings provide a rich setting. A waterworks tub as the focal point flanked by matching mirrored vanities.
