A luxurious white neutral master bedroom design featuring a refined wall panel molding design, brass wall sconces to highlight and accentuate to main elements of the room: a queen size bed with a tall upholstered headrest, a mahogany natural wood chest of drawer and wall art as well as an elegant small seating/reading area.

Primary Bedroom: The bed has a 7-foot tall headboard cabinet that acts as storage including hampers behind the bed which creates a path to the master bath / master closet through a barn door . The use of reclaimed wood was a nod to the adjacent barn and equestrian stable properties that can be seen through the south windows of the bedroom.

In the master bedroom, we decided to paint the original ceiling to brighten the space. The doors are custom designed to match the living room. There are sliding screens that pocket into the wall.

Designed with frequent guests in mind, we layered furnishings and textiles to create a light and spacious bedroom. The floor to ceiling drapery blocks out light for restful sleep. Featured are a velvet-upholstered bed frame, bedside sconces, custom pillows, contemporary art, painted beams, and light oak flooring.

Eichler in Marinwood - In conjunction to the porous programmatic kitchen block as a connective element, the walls along the main corridor add to the sense of bringing outside in. The fin wall adjacent to the entry has been detailed to have the siding slip past the glass, while the living, kitchen and dining room are all connected by a walnut veneer feature wall running the length of the house. This wall also echoes the lush surroundings of lucas valley as well as the original mahogany plywood panels used within eichlers.
