The Relaxed Mid-Century collection from Ellen DeGeneres crafted by Thomasville features a blend of Danish and Italian inspired details. Hand-planed walnut veneers with a warm Mid-Century Walnut finish complement brushed brass hardware which sets the aesthetic tone for this furniture collection. Additional details such as cane, bronzed glass and rich leathers are introduced on select pieces to add depth and enhance the overall richness. The upholstery features a blend of fluid, enveloping curves and tufted traditional seating. Sofas range from curvaceous, flowing forms to angular, tufted, tight seat designs. Upholstered accent chairs with hand formed frames and a Mid-Century Walnut finish inspire movement.

This elegant office space belies it's former use as a portion of a 4-car tandem garage. A wall was erected to create the space, the original concrete slab was polished, and heating was installed. Sliding glass doors, sky lights and recessed can lighting transformed the garage into a functional office space. The walls were finished in grasscloth wallpaper. Another vintage Kilim rug from Turkey and vintage Danish chairs help to complete the transformation.

Molded plywood, walnut veneer, and crisp linear forms can only mean one thing. Everything in this home office setting has been inspired by the MCM school of design, and some of it's straight out of the minds of Charles & Ray themselves. Get the whole look at SmartFurniture.com
