This new ensuite was a dream to design. Inspired by colours in curtains in the adjoining bedroom, we chose these gorgeous blue tiles and stacked them for a modern design. We chose quality fixtures including this matt white top mount basin, matt white bench top, elegant wall mounted tap and wall-hung timber vanity. Special features include strip lighting underneath the vanity, underfloor heating with tiled floors and a stunning LED mirror with de-mister.

We love the way the blue herringbone full tile backsplash complements the Maple cabinetry. Notice the same color in the shower niche to connect the two areas of the bathroom. Interestingly, just by looking at the white accent tile in the shower, you'd think the texture would make it hard to clean, but the angles of the texture and the polished material makes running a towel or spraying it with a handheld so smooth.

The David Hockney 1978 art piece Swimming Pool with Reflection inspired this California-cool bathroom. Watery-blue glass mosaic tile spills down the shower wall and out onto the concrete-gray tile floor in puddles. The custom back-painted glass vanity floats on the blue walls and is anchored by a chrome Kohler faucet, adding a modern sophistication to this fun space perfect for a young boy.
