Guest Bathroom remodel in North Fork vacation house. The stone floor flows straight through to the shower eliminating the need for a curb. A stationary glass panel keeps the water in and eliminates the need for a door. Mother of pearl tile on the long wall with a recessed niche creates a soft focal wall.

A bathroom upgrade that features new tiles surrounding the tub area and new baseboard tiles, fixtures, two built-in tile shelves, and a custom subway-style glass niche in the shower. For the rest of the bathroom, faux wood plank tiles floors, a dark wooden Wyndham vanity with marble countertops and chrome faucets was installed along with two matching mirrors. This black and white bathroom needed a little pop, so we took the tile to the ceiling in the shower and painted the walls blue. The addition of the soap niche became the perfect place to add a little visual interest with the black, white and metal tile mosaic. Full gut renovation and facade restoration of an historic 1850s wood-frame townhouse. The current owners found the building as a decaying, vacant SRO (single room occupancy) dwelling with approximately 9 rooming units. The building has been converted to a two-family house with an owner’s triplex over a garden-level rental. Due to the fact that the very little of the existing structure was serviceable and the change of occupancy necessitated major layout changes, nC2 was able to propose an especially creative and unconventional design for the triplex. This design centers around a continuous 2-run stair which connects the main living space on the parlor level to a family room on the second floor and, finally, to a studio space on the third, thus linking all of the public and semi-public spaces with a single architectural element. This scheme is further enhanced through the use of a wood-slat screen wall which functions as a guardrail for the stair as well as a light-filtering element tying all of the floors together, as well its culmination in a 5’ x 25’ skylight.

This master bathroom remodeling which we did in Ashburn is very special to us. The master bath of this home is a marble wonderland! If you’re going to do something, why not commit? Clean patterned tiles along with the vibrant turquoise color of walls and a spa-like bathtub changed the entire look of this bathroom remodel. The walk-in shower reminds of a beachy feel, the mundane smooth feeling to pebbles one of the floor tiles. A free-standing tub, a classic marble countertop, and refurnished lights will be made up for the space needed. Our clients are thankful for incorporating it.
