Moving in

For this new bar area, we crafted this very glam space from Ikea kitchen parts. Sleek cream fronts clad the simple wetbar area, letting a spectacular navy quartzite countertop (and gold sink and faucet) steal the show. To the left and in the foreground, are custom furniture pieces, designed by re-imagining how high gloss navy fronts could be used. For the armoire, standard pantry and cupboard units were trimmed all around in cream lacquer sheets and the unit set on hand-crafted solid brass legs from India. Lucite and brass handles add luxe appeal to the simple design. The bar table too is made from a series of navy doors and cream panels, strategically trimmed in custom brass strips which provide structure.
