To keep the formal room looking uncluttered, we found a lovely TV cabinet that opened right up for TV viewing and then closed up to have the look of a armoire/hutch. This was a showroom floor model that was being liquidated so we managed to replace the old simple TV Stand (repurposed in the Family room) without stretching the furniture budget.
