Norrod fireplace

I love using smooth Lueders (Texas) limestone on projects. Here I used it for the hearth top and fireplace surround - as a counterpoint to the rough, creamy limestone. The red oak bookcase/display cabinets on either side of the fireplace feature glass panel inserts designed and built by Austinites Barry DeCola and Alexandra Eusebi. Photo by Peter Tata
