MASTER BATH

The tile makes a fun, bold statement in the bathroom - a niche is perfectly aligned to the grout lines with shelves for shampoos and soaps.

Renovation of a master bath suite, dressing room and laundry room in a log cabin farm house. Project involved expanding the space to almost three times the original square footage, which resulted in the attractive exterior rock wall becoming a feature interior wall in the bathroom, accenting the stunning copper soaking bathtub. A two tone brick floor in a herringbone pattern compliments the variations of color on the interior rock and log walls. A large picture window near the copper bathtub allows for an unrestricted view to the farmland. The walk in shower walls are porcelain tiles and the floor and seat in the shower are finished with tumbled glass mosaic penny tile. His and hers vanities feature soapstone counters and open shelving for storage. Concrete framed mirrors are set above each vanity and the hand blown glass and concrete pendants compliment one another. This bright blue tropical bathroom highlights the use of local glass tiles in a palm leaf pattern and natural tropical hardwoods. The freestanding vanity is custom made out of tropical Sapele wood, the mirror was custom made to match. The hardware and fixtures are brushed bronze. The floor tile is porcelain.

Im großzügigen Duschbereich ist farbiges Glasmosaik verlegt. Die feine Duschabtrennung aus Glas öffnet den Bereich zum Bad. Eine Duschgarnitur mit Kopf- und Handbrause sowie die integrierte Sitzbank in der Dusche unterstreichen den Wellness-Charakter.

Rénovation d'un triplex de 70m² dans un Hôtel Particulier situé dans le Marais. Le premier enjeu de ce projet était de retravailler et redéfinir l'usage de chacun des espaces de l'appartement. Le jeune couple souhaitait également pouvoir recevoir du monde tout en permettant à chacun de rester indépendant et garder son intimité. Ainsi, chaque étage de ce triplex offre un grand volume dans lequel vient s'insérer un usage : Au premier étage, l'espace nuit, avec chambre et salle d'eau attenante. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'ancien séjour/cuisine devient une cuisine à part entière En cours anglaise, l'ancienne chambre devient un salon avec une salle de bain attenante qui permet ainsi de recevoir aisément du monde. Les volumes de cet appartement sont baignés d'une belle lumière naturelle qui a permis d'affirmer une palette de couleurs variée dans l'ensemble des pièces de vie. Les couleurs intenses gagnent en profondeur en se confrontant à des matières plus nuancées comme le marbre qui confèrent une certaine sobriété aux espaces. Dans un jeu de variations permanentes, le clair-obscur révèle les contrastes de couleurs et de formes et confère à cet appartement une atmosphère à la fois douce et élégante.

This was a renovation to a historic Wallace Frost home in Birmingham, MI. We salvaged the existing bathroom tiles and repurposed them into tow of the bathrooms. We also had matching tiles made to help complete the finished design when necessary. A vintage sink was also sourced.

Bathroom renovation included using a closet in the hall to make the room into a bigger space. Since there is a tub in the hall bath, clients opted for a large shower instead.
