The family room is the primary living space in the home, with beautifully detailed fireplace and built-in shelving surround, as well as a complete window wall to the lush back yard. The stained glass windows and panels were designed and made by the homeowner.

Paisley tapestry and textured leather combine in comfortable reading chairs; an English gate table’s leaf is often lifted to place a teapot and a dish of scones.

This modern Aspen interior design defined by clean lines, timeless furnishings and neutral color pallet contrast strikingly with the rugged landscape of the Colorado Rockies that create the stunning panoramic view for the full height windows. The large fireplace is built with solid stone giving the room strength while the massive timbers supporting the ceiling give the room a grand feel. The centrally located bar makes a great place to gather while multiple spaces to lounge and relax give you and your guest the option of where to unwind.

The client was quite fond of the red walls used in this combination Living/Family/Kitchen area. There was already a Crema Marfil hearth. We added a traditional wood fireplace surround, painted it to match the Crema Marfil hearth, and added a quite vibrant glass mosaic as the fireplace surround that tied together the red walls, teal accents in the room, and the brass firebox.

Family Room in a working cattle ranch with handknotted rug as a wall hanging. This rustic working walnut ranch in the mountains features natural wood beams, real stone fireplaces with wrought iron screen doors, antiques made into furniture pieces, and a tree trunk bed. All wrought iron lighting, hand scraped wood cabinets, exposed trusses and wood ceilings give this ranch house a warm, comfortable feel. The powder room shows a wrap around mosaic wainscot of local wildflowers in marble mosaics, the master bath has natural reed and heron tile, reflecting the outdoors right out the windows of this beautiful craftman type home. The kitchen is designed around a custom hand hammered copper hood, and the family room's large TV is hidden behind a roll up painting. Since this is a working farm, their is a fruit room, a small kitchen especially for cleaning the fruit, with an extra thick piece of eucalyptus for the counter top.
