We had the awesome opportunity to complete this 8ft Western Red Cedar board-on-board privacy fence that included metal gate frames with industrial hinges and 2x6 single stage trim cap. We used exterior rated GRK screws for 100% of the installation, not a single nail on the entire project. The project also included demolition and removal of a failed retaining wall followed by the form up and pouring of a new 24” tall concrete retaining wall. As always we are grateful for the opportunity to work with amazing clients who allow us to turn ideas into reality. If you have an idea for a custom fence, retaining wall, or any other outdoor project, give 806 Outdoors a call. 806 690 2344.

This Japanese natsume bachi, or stone bowl, water feature is placed for maximum enjoyment from the patio, but also from a perpendicular direction, the new built-in corner seating at the other end of this Siberian Larch retaining wall. double the pleasure!

This great backyard space started off with a wall and fence to level the backyard. Seat walls, planter and pillars set the tone for the shade structure that holds the space together. 2 different styles of pavers from Belgard and 2 new deck step landings to access the space from the house round out the project. Future plants for more privacy plantings to help privatize this space even more are in the works.

The French Drain was covered in clean gravel. The lower layer was crushed gravel, to aid stability. The upper layer was natural round river gravel to match the American River Road Base used for the patio & pathways.
