Merrifield Garden Center
The waterfall meanders over more than six vertical feet. It is constructed of natural stone boulders that also reach out into the hillside, ensuring that the waterfall does not appear out of place. Smaller river stones add to the naturalistic feel. Design and installation by Merrifield Garden Center. Photo: Wayne Boyland

Here one can lay by the poolside and gaze out past the hard geometry that leads to the pool's flowing endless edge where green plants and a green vineyard counters with the natural ruffles and stuff that plant life and nature has to offer

Dig Your Garden Landscape Design
Lagoon-side property in the Bel Marin Keys, Novato, CA. Entertaining and enjoying the views were a primary design goal for this project. The project includes a large camaru deck with built-in seating. The concrete steps and pavers lead down to the water's edge. I included a sunken patio on one side and a beautiful Buddha statue on the other, surrounded by succulents and other low-water, contemporary plantings. I also used Dymondia ground cover to create a natural pathways within the garden. Photo: © Eileen Kelly, Dig Your Garden Landscape Design. Design Eileen Kelly
