This compact side patio with large glass sliding door offers the perfect spot to extend your summer dining with a bbq for cooking and armchairs to relax, while the timber bench seat provides extra seating and planter boxes for colour.

The sliding folding doors enable the kitchen space to be extending out onto the patio to create a large social space.
CLPM project manger tip - it's very important to consider drainage when installing features such as this. The patio in front of the door threshold should slope gradually away so that water doesn't pool in front.

OUTHOUSE design
This inner west terrace had recently been transformed with a modern architectural extension to the rear. As you venture via the character filled hallway you are greeted by a paved courtyard that is defined by three glass walls. Even though our clients are well travelled and have a strong sense of style and character, this personality ceased to exist within the courtyard.
For privacy we designed an overhead structure, the selected pattern ensures plenty of light into the space, whilst still creating a sense of privacy. The curved shape of the structure allows for a supportive daybed/seating structure and place to get away for those lazy afternoons.
