Amaryllis is almost beyond description; the entire back of the home opens seamlessly to a gigantic covered entertainment lanai and can only be described as a visual testament to the indoor/outdoor aesthetic which is commonly a part of our designs. This home includes four bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. Additional features include a theatre room, a separate private spa room near the swimming pool, a very large open kitchen, family room, and dining spaces that coupled with a huge master suite with adjacent flex space. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs flank a large entertaining space which seamlessly flows out to the second floor lounge balcony terrace. Outdoor entertaining will not be a problem in this home since almost every room on the first floor opens to the lanai and swimming pool. 4,516 square feet of air conditioned space is enveloped in the total square footage of 6,417 under roof area.

This client started with their home remodel and then hired us to create the exterior as an extension of the interior living space. The backyard was sloped and did not provide much flat area. We built a completely private inner courtyard with an over-sized entry door, tile patio, and a colorful custom water feature (pictured here) to create an intimate gathering space. The backyard redesign included a small pool with spa addition, fireplace, shade structures and built in wall fountain. Photo Credit - Cynthia Montgomery

A view of the home’s main courtyard. An example of the structural engineering work GDC did at the property is the upright wooden beams, which were split in half, reinforced with structural steel, and joined back together again.

Kirk Bianchi created this resort like setting for a couple from Mexico City. They were looking for a contemporary twist on traditional themes, and Luis Barragán was the inspiration. The outer walls were painted a darker color to recede, while floating panels of color and varying heights provided sculptural interest and opportunities for lighting and shadow.

Designed to look like a traditional fountain, this water feature is actually a cold dip-hot dip pool. The covered loggia is perfect for entertaining. Note the reclaimed wood trusses and traditional tile roof.

This casita was completely renovated from floor to ceiling in preparation of Airbnb short term romantic getaways. The color palette of teal green, blue and white was brought to life with curated antiques that were stripped of their dark stain colors, collected fine linens, fine plaster wall finishes, authentic Turkish rugs, antique and custom light fixtures, original oil paintings and moorish chevron tile and Moroccan pattern choices.

Vista desde la entrada a la vivienda. Entre las reformas, se puede observar el cambio de barandilla a una de acero inoxidable, con dos cables tensores horizontales que dejan ver desde el salón, todos los detalles del patio.
