Just steps from the outdoor kitchen, the glass-topped eight-person dining table is sheltered from the elements by a large retractable umbrella. Across the yard, the stand of mature beech trees is filling in to provide total privacy along that side and the front boulevard.

This penthouse deck incorporates 2 fire pits, one on the top deck and one on the lower deck located under a glass awning.
The awning shelters from the rain and wind while the outdoor fan helps to direct the raising heat from the fire pit back down to keep the space warm. The stacked stone walls run the perimeter of the deck and along the garden wall face. Low voltage lighting offers ambient light and highlights the garden plants. The upper deck fire pit sits perched perfectly to enjoy the city and ocean views beyond and the custom lit benches along the perimeter wall offers plenty of seating and low light for unique visual experience and ambience.

The Raptor Lane project requested that TRC pour sidewalks, patios, stairs, breezeways and a pool deck around colonnades. The concrete was a custom blend of various grey colors and included a light broadcast of Sparkle Grain by Pacific Palette on all of the concrete surfaces. The home, built by Howerton Construction, was a blend of old Tuscan style stone and modern architecture designed by Italian Architect Aldo Andreoli. The sparkling grey hardscape that was sand finished, was a subtle and perfect choice to flank this magnificent Casa Bella. This property was featured in Santa Cruz Style Magazine Summer 2012.
