Once a large echoing space this new streamlined powder room allows privacy from the surrounding rooms. By creating a "foyer" space we were able to recess the entrance from the hallway. An addition of a stained glass transom allows the crystal light fixture to "shine" through. A beautiful window treatment with crystal trim adds elegance. The foyer has the same detailed trim around the doorways as the rest of the first floor.

Vignette of Master Bathroom Vanity. Champagne and gold wallpaper with elegant scroll design compliments the marble vanity counter and framed wall mirror. The crystal wall sconce was mounted directly onto the mirror for extra sparkle!
Interior Motifs
The toilet is tiny, but cosy. We wanted to make it stand out by putting some elaborate wallpaper on, with washable paint underneath. A brass old mirror, connects the old and new.

The powder room successfully blends a variety of luscious finishes which convey a sophisticated contemporary ambiance to this room. The solid bamboo vessel sits onto a counter made of chocolate onyx. The customer vanity is veneered with bamboo while the walls are covered in a shimmery grasscloth material. Touches of copper complement our design scheme.
Ambiance
This 1940's era 1/2 bath was remodeled and updated to a glamorous grooming area. Gas wall heater was removed. New custom floating cabinets replaced the old cabinets. All electrical and plumbing was updated, including Electric Mirror lighted mirrors for the best grooming light. An overhanging lavatory allows for a narrower cabinet in a small space. Linear limestone tiles add a touch of luxury as does the white and silver wallcovering and tile backsplash with crystal accents.

A powder room doesn't have to be boring or appear small. With the use of reclaimed mirrors and chest I created an elegant room you would love to visit!
