Our clients wished to update the look of their kitchen and create a more open layout that was bright and inviting.
Our Design Solution
Our design solution was to remove the wall cabinets between the kitchen and dining area and to use a warm almond color to make the kitchen really open and inviting. We used bronze light fixtures and created a unique peninsula to create an up-to-date kitchen.
Landis Architects | BuildersThe whimsical powder room is decorated with the clients’ collectibles. The room is accessed through the butler’s pantry between a pantry and the new kitchen.

Ann Lowengart InteriorsThe family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.
Confluence DesignThe amazing walnut wood mosaic backsplash extends up the wall to the 10' ceiling. A smoked-glass vessel sink and concrete-like quartz complement the walnut and turquoise furniture-like vanity with hairpin legs. Through a walnut panelled doorway you enter into the light filled
kitchen and living room.

Neal's Design RemodelThe powder room was updated with a new vanity in Brookhaven's Fremont Square Raised Panel door (frameless) in Maple with a Matte Heirloom Black w/ Espresso Glaze and distressing. The counter is White Spring granite.
Mohawk FlooringThe Noblesse product line combines traditional domestic visuals with fashion forward designs, executed with the customary level of excellence expected from Mohawk. Beginning with oak and chestnut decors, we are able to provide plenty of options for the conventional consumer. Walnut and cherry visuals add a domestic exotic flair to the collection. The collection is finished with teak and amendoim decors.
UserA hand-painted mural of cherry blossoms adorns the walls of this powder room. Sitting atop the biscuit colored toilet is a bronze statue of two children at play. An antique French confiturier has been converted into a vanity and is home to a biscuit colored sink and antique brass faucet. Reflected in the gold-leaf mirror is a traditional Georgian lantern.

The organic elements merge well with the undeniably beautiful scenery, creating a cohesive interior design from the inside out.
