We love the swing suspended by rope instead of chain. These pillows make this swing as cozy as a sofa. Perfect place for reading.
This over sized deck in the forest and hills of Aptos, California needed a fresh look and layout. The previous deck material was a rubber type roof coating. These wood deck tiles were an easy way to transform the look and function. New furnishings and accessories with pops of colors complete the look. The swing is a fun feature. The space was separated into living sections; lounging & socializing, swinging & reading, cooking & dining. Potted plants placed around the deck add green and fluff. Pinks, greens, and blues in the pillows and accessories add the pop and fun. The feeling is comfortable, fun, and welcoming.

Blue ceramic pots and a matching blue tile backsplash bring a touch of the Mediterranean to this rooftop terrace in the heart of New York City. This Park Avenue residence actually features three separate rooftop terraces. One terrace is made for entertaining and features a built-in fireplace, inset jacuzzi, bluestone patio, custom-built wood planters, an outdoor kitchen, and ceramic pots filled with boxwoods and flowers. The upstairs terrace feels like a private oasis surrounded by lush birch trees and roses that soften the view on all sides. Another smaller terrace off the master bedroom is charmingly intimate and features a mix of serene evergreens and comfortable lounge chairs.
