Schaumburg First Floor Remodel

Beautiful transitional living room/dining room with mixed elements. The piano, paintings, and chandelier are the only original pieces before remodel/refurnish was started. Hard wood floors replace carpeting, recessed lighting was added in living room. The colors in the rug and lving room accents were my inspiration from the beautiful paintings. Traditonal furniture is mixed with transitional pieces. The simple writing table is accompanied with a modern ghost chair, accent with a faux fur pillow and navy throw. The moroccan style glass and metal end table adds a global feeling and compliments the neutral pewter tone tones of the sofa and arm chair. The dining room was done in neutral shades except for the pop of color in the rug. The silver,white and navy area rug transitions over from the living room mixing with a gold mirror to complement the gold chandelier. All metals were used to tie these two rooms together.
