The house's second bathroom was only half a bath with an access door at the dining area. We extended the bathroom by an additional 36" into the family room and relocated the entry door to be in the minor hallway leading to the family room as well. A classical transitional bathroom with white crayon style tile on the walls, including the entire wall of the toilet and the vanity. The alcove tub has a barn door style glass shower enclosure. and the color scheme is a classical white/gold/blue mix.

A fun jazzy powder bathroom highlights the client’s own photography. A patterned porcelain floor not only adds some pizzazz but is also a breeze to maintain. The deep blue vanity cabinet pops against the black, white, and gray tones. Hidden behind the sideway, a free-hanging vanity mirror and industrial vanity light hang over the semi-vessel sink making this an unexpectedly fun room for guests to visit. The bold colour choice create a relaxing space with a unique style and elegance that is both classic and contemporary. Shimmering blue glass mosaic is the main feature of the room paired with the contrasting large grey porcelain tile made to look like natural stone. A custom designed vanity by MAJ Interiors utilizes every available inch for storage including above the toilet. Introducing elements such as a towel bar on the glass door is another clever introduction of functionality within a small bathroom space. Carrying the countertop below the storage above the toilet and behind the mirror connects all the separate elements creating one whole unit. A textured black floor relates to the texture of the glass mosaic tile along the top perimeter of the room, creating a rich layering of beautifully chosen materials within this scheme of uncluttered simplicity.

The result is a custom-designed furniture piece vanity in a custom royal blue finish, as well as matching mirror frames. **What Makes This Project Unique?** The clients had an image in their minds and were determined to find a place for it in their new custom home. Their love of bold blue and this unique style led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind piece. The room is bathed in natural light, and the use of light colors in the tile to complement the brilliant blue, help ensure that the space remains light, airy and welcoming. **Design Challenges** Because this furniture piece doesn't start with a standard vanity, our biggest challenge was simply determining what pieces we could draw upon from a semi-custom custom cabinet line. This client wanted a bathroom that would feel like an escape to her favorite coastal oasis. She supplied the mirror which we used for inspiration along with her artwork of coastal scenery and shells. We started with clean white subway tile with accents of sea glass. The blue custom made vanity hue came from the sea glass tile and we installed a white quartz top for simplicity. We used rustic whitewashed wood for the walls in a slightly creamier hue so the bathroom didn't come across as sterile and seemed a bit aged over time. The flooring material has hints of gray and colors from both the wood and subway tile to pull it all together. You do feel as though you just stepped into a beach cottage! Sophisticated Carrara marble bathroom. Kohler's Memoirs collection was used for all the faucets and fixtures. The new Choreograph grab bar looks like a barre and also doubles as a soap/shampoo rail. Carrara marble 6" x 12" tiles on the wall, 3" x 12" herringbone pattern on the floor and a single slab on the vanity. Sea salt oval cast iron sink.

Bathroom is right off the bedroom of this clients college aged daughter.

Mosaic shale master bathroom is compact but has a large walk-in shower with a shower bench and beautiful opalescent tile that lines the walls. The mosaic tile on the vanity wall brings out a little more shine and compliments the chrome fixtures.
