**Project Overview** This new custom home is filled with personality and individual touches that make it true to the owners' vision. When creating the guest bath, they wanted to do something truly unique and a little bit whimsical. The result is a custom-designed furniture piece vanity in a custom royal blue finish, as well as matching mirror frames. **What Makes This Project Unique?** The clients had an image in their minds and were determined to find a place for it in their new custom home. Their love of bold blue and this unique style led to the creation of this one-of-a-kind piece. The room is bathed in natural light, and the use of light colors in the tile to complement the brilliant blue, help ensure that the space remains light, airy and welcoming. **Design Challenges** Because this furniture piece doesn't start with a standard vanity, our biggest challenge was simply determining what pieces we could draw upon from a semi-custom custom cabinet line. Open Plan Shower set within a small existing bedroom of a Californian Bungalow. A wall was added into the middle of the room creating on one side, the ensuite, and on the other, a laundry and main bathroom

Cabinets: This powder bath features WWWoods Shiloh cabinetry in maple wood, Aspen door style with a Dovetail Gray painted finish. Countertop: The 3cm countertops are a Cambria quartz in Galloway, paired with a matching splashlette. Fixtures and Fittings: From Kohler, we have an oval undermount vanity sink in Mirrored French Gold. The faucet, also from Kohler, is a Finial Traditional Wall-Mount Bath sink faucet trim with lever handles and 9-3/4” spout in French Gold.

The family bathroom is quite traditional in style, with Lefroy Brooks fitments, polished marble counters, and oak parquet flooring. Although small in area, mirrored panelling behind the bath, a backlit medicine cabinet, and a decorative niche help increase the illusion of space. Photography: Bruce Hemming

The walk-in, curbless shower features 12” x 24” porcelain tiles on the walls with a smaller 2” x 2” for the shower floor.

Bathroom is right off the bedroom of this clients college aged daughter.
