Rénovation d’un studio en centre ville de Nantes. Le challenge était de créer un espace nuit avec un vrai lit, tout en gardant un espace ouvert et lumineux. Grace à ce claustra bois, réalisé sur mesure, la pièce de vie et l’espace nuit ne se confondent pas mais cohabitent naturellement.

A decidedly feminine space. This was a found space left after a huge built-in was removed turning this into a dreamy walk through to the master bedroom. Wallcovering is natural capiz shell wallpaper accented with leather cording at the seams. Hair on hide stools are the perfect perch to put on shoes to start your day.

Aufgabe | Raumkonzept, Umsetzung & Styling Anforderung | Der 11 qm große Raum sollte zum Gästezimmer umgestaltet werden. Es sollte allerdings etwas Besonderes werden, sodass sich die Gäste wie in einem Boutique Hotel fühlen. Die große Herausforderung dabei: Das Budget sollte unter 500 € bleiben. Ergebnis | Das größte Gestaltungselement in diesem kleinen Raum waren die Wände. Um einen Wow-Effekt zu erzeugen und den Raum größer wirken zu lassen, wurden alle Wände gleich gestrichen. Dabei war ein Rauchblau der Favorit. Die Wandleuchten in Gold sind ein Highlight und als erstes beim Betreten zu sehen. Die Deckenlampe wirft abends ein tolles Muster an die Wände. Das Bett war bereits vorhanden. In Kombination mit Schwarz, Gold und hellem Holz wurde der Raum maximal genutzt. Die Wandgestaltung und Glas-Nachttische lassen das kleine Zimmer luftig wirken und verleihen ihm dennoch Gemütlichkeit. Eine kleine Bank dient den Gästen als Ablage. Darunter ist Raum für Koffer oder Reisetasche.

We touched each and every room of the house to give it a custom designer touch, thoughtfully marrying our soft minimalist design aesthetic with the graphic designer homeowner’s own design sensibilities. One of the most notable transformations in the home was opening up the galley kitchen to create an open concept great room with large skylight to give the illusion of a larger communal space.

The master bedroom is a cozy space, capturing the character of the previous roofline with a rustic beam detail. A built in dog bed takes advantage of unused attic space and a new niche became the perfect spot to house the current reading list. Because of the age of the home, the design was about embracing the cottage feel of the home. This was done with modern windows that let in abundant natural light for their size and location. Supply chain issues significantly delayed the project when the windows took far longer than expected or planned, but they were absolutely worth the wait. They fit the aesthetic of the home, maximize natural light, and complement the eclectic vibe within the master suite. The space was further personalized with bold wallpaper that features an antique vibe. The chandelier was curated for the space to add interest and uniqueness to the room. Instead of a door, the opening to the closet gives a spatial feel to the suite and maximizes function and flow.

L’inserimento di una cabina armadio, ha sicuramente portato alla rinuncia di un maggior spazio davanti alla zona letto, quindi abbiamo optato per l’inserimento di questa grafica che desse la sensazione di apertura, con una visuale di maggiore profondità, oltre che regalare un grande impatto visivo e dare ad una semplice camera d aletto, un tocco di carattere in più.
